    Thieves.

    Growing up, Grian was taught to avoid them. As an avian hybrid he had a bright red target on his back in the form of his wings.
    Grian wanted nothing to do with them, he despised the way they hurt people for fun. Unfortunately for him fate had no good fortune for him, as he ended up in the cell of the second most dangerous gang in HermitCraft. For five years he sat there, alone in that cold room, waiting for death to bless him.

    And one day, a raid changes his life. Taking his hand that day was the best decision he could’ve made.

    Now, he knew something like this would happen. Grian tears up as he looks towards him, heart beating so fast he thought he would faint right there. The man littered with scars takes his hand and smiles so brightly that even Grian is taken aback by him.

    “It’s okay, Grian. You’re safe now.”

    He was Home.

    Gem had fished up a lot of things at her rig in the reef, but the child in the crate for big fish was a new one. She’s just glad she got to him on time, seeing as he was literally throwing up water. Ick…
