After dying by the hands to the Sinister Six, Peter Parker is brought back from the embrace of death, returning to the crime-riddled streets of New York as something new.
A necessary evil; determined to sterilise the city of felony and villainy as efficiently as his mind was purged of memory.
Any remnants of his former life are replaced and befouled with code phrases, and the presence of a new guttural voice.
Peter could reveal himself to the grieving Avengers, bring a sense of peace long forgotten, but maybe... just maybe... he's better off dead.
