Summary
When Tubbo’s friend Tommy is stolen away by the Winter Court, he refuses to let him go without a fight. Armed with his wits and a compass, he agrees to a dangerous wager: gather a charm from each Faerie court and bring them back before the winter solstice.

The afterlife is a mess of time and space.
Dream got the brunt end of that mess, of time, and bad luck follows Tommy even in death.
Dream is mere seconds too late reviving him.Tommy wakes up in a familiar, unfamiliar world in a familiar, unfamiliar body that looks so much like an old friend of his, and yet he remembers everything when really, he shouldn't. His brother's voice guides him, the Nether is blistering heat and dust and his hands are hoofed.

he re-reads the instructions, mouthing it silently. he doesn’t think he’s made a mistake. he’s gotten all of it right.
he takes a deep breath, then looks over the summoning circle hes made, in the depths of an abandoned house he found.
candles give off a dim light, shining on the dark red liquid that’s sloshing around in the bowl tubbo is holding.
he tosses the bowl into the circle, watching the contents spill, and starts chanting, chanting until his voice is raw and scratchy.
just when he thinks it won’t work, that he’s done something wrong, something echoes through the house. he falters in his words, seeing the circle he messily drew out of cheap chalk start to glow.

Tommy feels himself grow even more sick at the thought. Phil and Techno would kill him if they found out he’d sent their Tommy to that hell. That hell with exile, and war, and Dream.
