Jason and Percy are friends, right? So it's not weird that Jason takes special notice of Percy's unhappiness, especially following his breakup with Annabeth.
What *does* seem weird is Percy's behavior –– a breakup doesn't explain why it's beginning to feel like the zombie apocalypse might start at Camp Half-Blood. So Jason investigates, and the more he uncovers about Percy and his past, the more he realizes how wholly unequipped he is to love this man as much as he deserves.
But, nobody said Jason Grace was anything but incredibly determined. This fic follows him and a couple others as Percy spirals, Jason unravels, and Nico makes a very big mistake.
