Summary
In the hit card game, Genius Invokation TCG, there is a master of the craft walking the streets.
General Mahamatra Cyno, who has bested nearly every opponent around. But there is one man who he still has yet to beat, the wise and beautiful scholar Tighnari. With a little bit of humor, and a lot of love disguised as mere friendship, he is determined to convince Tighnari to play the game too. And once he does, he'll at last be able to confess, non-verbally, through playing to his strengths and winning the game.

“I am not mistaken.” the Wanderer interrupts, surprised by the sure edge in his voice. “I know your eyes. This red-streaked hair. I’ve seen them many years whilst I hunted your family. Your kin. You’re here avenging your clan? That’s fine.”
He takes another careful step back, but the wind is almost hesitant to move with him. As if it is struggling to pick a side.
“Everything you’ve been told is true. The fall of the Raiden Gokaden falls onto me. The history you remember is a falsehood, and it is I who holds the blame for your clan's downfall. For the destruction of so many sword-arts within Inazuma. Even the war, it all comes back to me.”
The swordsman's expression falters, and he lifts up a bandaged hand to lay it upon his chest.
“You misunderstand me. I truly only wish to talk.”
And the Wanderer looks at him. He hesitates— because he isn’t sure of himself anymore. Eyes lowering down to look at the sword tied at this man's side. Where his hand is already placed on its hilt, ready to be drawn.
“Talk?” he coldly repeats.

Summary
As the bard's voice grew tired his audience applauded him loudly, clapping their hands and offering him their glasses or loose coin which he took without question, grinning widely.
Diluc scoffed, moving out from where he’d stood in the shadows to join the group. As soon as the bard saw the movement, he downed the alcohol without any proper manners or self respect. When Diluc stood before him, snatching the emptied glasses from his hand he only laughed, tilting his head to the side shamelessly.
Offering up to Diluc the coins clinking together in his outstretched palm, he shamelessly requested more wine straight from the source. Unbothered by the scowl of the bartender.

Summary

Aether has visited and fled more worlds than he can count, careful never to get attached, but this is the first time he's truly been trapped on any one of them, stripped of his power and split from his sister. He is certain he will starve and fade, chained by his immortality to a life of unending agony, unable to even put himself to rest— until he meets a lost and achingly gentle adeptus who brings him new hope.
It will be a long time before either of them learn how to receive the love they are given.

The boy wraps his hands around Xiao’s; even through his gloves, he can feel heat, thick and heady, sink deep into his skin. The fire licks his bones, clawing secrets in the cracks in its surface.
Xiao knows better than to let himself burn, knows that Liyue is worth more than his scorched ashes, but this is a dream. This is a dream, so there are no battles to fight, no duties to follow. The boy can strike a match on Xiao’s skin, and Xiao can watch as all his armor dissolves in smoke.
The boy tugs, and Xiao comes unmoored.
In which Xiao and Venti meet in a series of dreams. Sort of.
