Summary
Tanjiro and Rengoku are on their way back to the Butterfly Mansion after completing their latest mission when a snowstorm overtakes them and forces them to follow their Kasugai Crows to the nearest Wisteria Crest House. Exhaustion plays havoc with their emotions and they both start to realize how they feel about each other as they bathe, treat each other's injuries and share a much needed meal. Eventually, emotions and bodies completely drained and bellies full of delicious food, the two drift to sleep side-by-side beneath the cozy kotatsu.

Kamado Kie enjoyed thinking of many things she wanted to do in her future. She wanted to visit her various children when they all grew up and left the house to start families of their own. She wanted to hear the pattering of small feet from down the hall and the joyous cries of "Obaa-san!" from her grandchildren.
She wanted to die peacefully, buried next to her husband and watch over her family.
A heart howling for vengeance and a blood-stained axe is not what she saw in her future, but it isn't like she could really help it.
