Oh… that is weird as fuckor: a straight hockey romance becomes the biggest show on the planet. The internet is convinced (correctly) that the male lead is 100% based on Shane Hollander. Too bad almost no one knows Shane Hollander is gay.

Summary
Shane Hollander remembers being 19 and single.
He wakes up after an accident at thirty, captain of the Metros, engaged to Ilya Rozanov, and apparently in the middle of the biggest scandal in hockey history.
He remembers none of it. And he certainly doesn't remember why, hours before the accident, he looked his fiancé in the eyes and said I'm sorry before walking out.
Shane sat on the edge of the bed. His phone was gone, his head hurt, he wanted a glass of water and some painkillers. He had no idea where anything was in his room. He opened the bedside drawer to find a collection of items that left absolutely no room for interpretation.
Shane slammed the drawer shut. Hard.
Why did he own so much of this stuff?
Why was it organized?
Who organized anal plugs and dildos by size and color?
That was when Rozanov chose to walk into the room.
“Did you already fall? Do I have to fucking call the hospital, Hollander, I am too tired for this…”
His eyes landed on Shane, then on his hand on the drawer, then back on Shane.
Shane pointed accusingly at the drawer.
"I can explain."
