Summary
“She’s a wolf.”, he little more than whispered. No doubt because the girl was able to hear.
“Almost a year here.”, he darts his eyes away when his voice sounds a little louder than usual. With the sudden silence Wednesday lets herself, even begrudgingly, look again at Eugene’s small face. He stares at her seriously and with eyes too excited too.
“Killed three men on the last full moon she were loose. All of them adults.”, Wednesday compresses her lips as she turns her eyes respectfully to the saddened angel in the distance.
At the same time Eugene is finally satisfied about his suspense, he truly had no idea who he was talking to as he hisses in a drawn out voice:
“And then she ate them. All of them.”
