Summary
I open the door to the noisy classroom, only about five minutes late, and silently make my way to my assigned seat in the back of the room. When I’m about to sit down, I see a stranger sitting next to me, looking happy someone took this seat.
“Hi! I’m Cade, I just started here. Would you mind showing me the ropes for this class?”, the new student says with a smile so big it’s almost blinding, but I can still see a nervous glint in their eyes.
“Sure. I’m Anne. What do you need?”, I say, trying not to be completely monotone, but failing hard.
Anne is over doing the same thing day in and day out, just counting the days. A new student in her class might be able to help her, and get her life on track again.
I wrote this for a school competition, and surprisingly I won! (only among 5 students, but shhh) Let's see how the national final goes!

Blindness of Prejudice in "To Kill a Mockingbird" by TheQueerGeek

Summary
In the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, an important topic is prejudice. More specifically blindness of prejudice. The characters meet racist and ignorant remarks constantly, and seemingly no one thinks anything of it. Usually it’s just an offhanded comment, which in itself shows how people think. Sometimes however, it’s more than that. The main plotline of the book, Tom Robinson’s trial, is inherently racist, but very few people think there’s anything wrong with the trial.
This is a text I wrote for school. The task was to write a text discussing how blindness of prejudice is shown in the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird".

“I really like you. Like, I love you.” My best friend bursts out with out of nowhere.
She’s genuinely the best person I know, and I’d do anything for her. But would I do this? Would I tell her I love her the way she loves me? I don’t know that I’m able to do that.- Language:

Have you ever felt like you have worms in your brain? Like there’s something that eats you up from the inside and stops you from thinking clearly? That feeling is familiar to NOAHFINNCE, who wrote the song WORMS (In My Brain) about just that. The worms in this song are a metaphor for trauma.
Basically a literary analysis of the song WORMS (In My Brain) by NOAHFINNCE, focusing on mental health. The thesis statement is "The worms are a metaphor for trauma".

"Alice." She looks like she just saw me murder someone. That's so far from what happened it's almost laughable. But maybe it's not that far to her.
“First you shaved your head, now you're going around kissing girls!” Her anger is like a dragon, its big ugly body filling the entire room. Spitting flames in my face, burning me alive.
“I didn't raise a lesbian!”
“You're right. You didn't raise a lesbian.”
“Good, you're understanding. Being a lesbian would be a bad decision. Right, Alice?”

Behold! A poem! It's... more or less about how being autistic/neurodivergent can make someone feel like an outsider. And how exhausting it is trying to hold your neurodivergent self to neurotypical standards.
