Summary
He had a grand total of six square feet belonging to him. Sort of. Not really. He didn’t own much. He had the Palpatine figure (that belonged to Ned), the coffee cup MJ had given him, a notebook containing the note he had written for Ned and MJ, a laptop, a sewing machine and the Spider-Man suit.
Spider-Man had been an Avenger, faced Thanos and multiversal threats. He assisted people cross the road, helped lost dogs back to their owners, taught students how to do physics equations and stopped muggings, drug deals, rapists, any crime he saw or heard reported on police radio.
Peter Parker had laid on a creaky mattress in F.E.A.S.T. for a month and scavenged pieces of his new life together with his bare hands.

Summary
“So, what did the doctor say?” Katsuki asked as he swung his feet back and forth, moving himself forward on the swing seat.
In a world where heroes were everywhere and quirks seemed like a necessity for such a career, would he still be able to compete with Kaachan? Would they still be friends?
He had seen how the quirkless had been treated in public, if only passively. He had seen a homeless man get spat on before his mother pulled him away. He had watched a girl get stopped from buying sweets at a shop because she had mentioned she was quirkless.
Izuku was no stranger to the cruelty of the world.
So, confronted by all of his thoughts, he made a decision.
He lied.
_______________________________Alternatively: Izuku Midoriya, age 5, made a decision to lie about his quirk status. Does that matter? Nope, he was going to become a hero with Kaachan anyway.

Summary
Peter knows for a fact that Happy hates his guts. Well, maybe hates is a little strong, but it's more than just a gut feeling Peter has that Happy really doesn't like him. At all. But Peter doesn't mind so much, because every day when Happy picks him up from school, Peter finds a snack waiting in the back seat for him. Rolled up dividers and muffins and other tasty things. It's a thing now, and Peter kind of loves it, or at least he loves the snacks part of their silent arrangement. He especially loves the fall treats that Happy has been bringing lately. Happy doesn't know what to do with the kid… this kid that is slowly becoming Tony's kid. It's not that Peter is bad, far from it. Talkative and overexcitable, yes, and sometimes, when he's sending daily action reports with a blow by blow of eating churros, he can be a little annoying. But that doesn't mean that Happy doesn't like him, he just doesn't know what to do with all of that. He does know what to do to fill the garbage disposal that is Peter's enhanced teenage stomach though.
OR
Peter comes to a sudden realization that Happy actually likes him quite a bit. A fluffy fall fic for Cozytober 2024.

May and her boyfriend kick Peter out of the car on the side of the road in another state in the middle of the night. It’s freezing cold and Peter doesn’t know where he is or how to get home. He can’t call May, Ned isn’t home, and the only other number he has belongs to Happy, who has explicitly told him not to call him unless it’s a life or death emergency. And hypothermia isn’t an emergency, is it? Is it??
OR
Peter calls Happy, he yells at Peter for calling so late at night, and Peter breaks down. Happy and Tony feel guilty for not looking closer in the two months since Germany and realizing that Peter needed help. Minor fluff at the end with a hopeful ending. “I don’t want to intrude.”
“You’re not intruding at all.” MJ unlocks her door and steps inside, gesturing with her head for him to follow. “Besides, I’m just repaying you for the flowers.”
“You don’t have to,” Peter insists. “I was just being nice.”
“Then I’m being nice too. Come on. I have too much food and only myself for company.”
She holds up the plastic bag in her hand, where Peter can see two boxes of takeout inside.
“Okay,” Peter agrees, his hunger winning against his common sense. “Thank you for having me.”
Peter has done a good job avoiding Ned and MJ for the past four years. Until they both moved in across the hall and began inviting him for meals and giving him leftovers (suspiciously looking freshly cooked). He really shouldn’t get involved in their lives anymore, but Peter Parker is broke, hungry, and can’t resist the temptation of delicious food and the chance to talk to his friends again.
Or: Healing and loving through awkward leftovers, impromptu lunch hangouts, and maybe admitting Peter’s not quite satisfied with his life as he thought he was.
