Summary
When Martin Blackwood starts working in the archives of the Magnus Institute, he expects to come across a few unexplainable events and perhaps a spooky book or two while researching statements for his chronically absent boss. But when he goes searching for more tapes to record on, he does not expect to fall through the floor of the head archivist's office, or to find himself in a nightmare garden in the tunnels beneath the Institute. There, confronted and impregnated by the Archivist, Martin finds himself caught up in a supernatural battle to free the Archivist from captivity for the sake of both their futures.

Taken from, ah, a document which was found in a box marked Highly Confidential: Do Not Open Under Any Circumstances, but it’s pretty old, so we figure whoever cared is probably dead anyway,” he said, shrugging. “It was interesting and we’re stuck in a horrible hell job, so, like, whatever. Who’s gonna stop me?”
