He drives, and drives, and drives, until the gas light starts blinking and he has to stop. And then he drives some more, and just goes, and the realization hits him that he has everything he needs. A set of clothes, his papers, his wallet. He could get out.
He needs to get out.Daniel Jacobi needs to get out, so he does. He doesn't end up where he expects to be, but does end up where he needs to be. Picking up the pieces, he meets some new people along the way.
