Summary
He should have said no. He should have put his foot down—drawn the line in the sand.
But that was one of his many, many flaws…
When his daughter asked for something, Lucifer Morningstar just couldn’t say no. How could he deny his one and only child? His heir? His pride and joy? His one good thing that had come from his eternal torment?
But right now, he really wished he had said no, regardless of how disappointed Charlie would have been. After all, it wasn’t every day she would be able to reconnect with her angelic and demonic lineage that was the palace’s origins.
However as Lucifer had a habit of learning, hindsight is a bitch.

Summary
Alastor swung his bare legs off the bed, his hooves clicking against the wooden floor. He didn’t stand, unsure if his trembling legs would take his weight just yet. But he had to go. Had to get away.
Smooth fingers ran down his spine, goosebumps causing his soft fur to stand on end—even his tail fluffed up from the ticklish yet pleasant feeling, begging to flick happily.
Fuck.
He needed to leave.
“Stay the night? Just until your morning broadcast?” Lucifer’s question was expected, his words tinged with hope and desire.
Alastor swallowed back his hesitation and forced a sly grin as he scanned the room for his discarded clothing. “Again? Quite insatiable, aren’t you, sire?”

Summary
Lucifer was a lot lighter than he looked.
Even with all six of his wings limp and dragging behind him, he weighed almost nothing in Alastor’s arms. At least he had stopped bleeding, golden ambrosia no longer staining the ground with every step.
Alastor carried the unconscious Lucifer as gently as he could through the ruins of the palace, his shadow lifting the angel’s battered wings when they were about to snag on a shattered piece of furniture or catch on a broken picture frame.
It was slow progress, but Alastor found that he was in no rush.
As exhausted and sore as he already was, he was in no hurry to return to the hotel.
But he could go nowhere else.
Lucifer needed rest.
And a bath.
And substance that wasn’t alcohol.
And probably more than that.
But the palace was wrecked, as was Lucifer’s bedroom and bathroom…
…Which left only one place Alastor could think to take the weak and unconscious King…

Summary
“So… have you been enjoying being my husband’s little fucktoy?”
Alastor froze.
His body tensed in an instant, ears on alert and smile stretching into his perfect mask once more. The crackle of his static covered the small gasp that had escaped before he could stop it.
The lighting of his room had always been dark, illuminated mostly from the pocket-dimension bayou that he had sewn into his assigned hotel room. It had taken him years to master that piece of magic, but it had been worth it time and time again.
Now, however, Alastor wished he had more than the light of the fake moon filtering in through the bayou’s trees.
By the time his eyes finally adjusted to the shift in lighting to spot the intruder, the glowing lilac collar had already materialized along with the matching chain.
His master gave the leash a vicious yank, sending him stumbling further into the room.

Summary
He never begged.
Not when she struck him.
Not when she ordered him to kneel.
Not when she broke him down and stripped him of his dignity.
Alastor knew he was hers. But he thought—hoped—Lucifer might love him anyway.
But there was only one thing more dangerous than wearing a collar—hope.
