After deciding to leave his old life behind, eighteen-year-old Valentino Serrano moves from impoverished Southern Miami to the Big Apple. Val has hopes and dreams of becoming an actor one day, despite the discouragement and abuse he faced back home. Once he gets comfortably settled in Brooklyn, he turns to sex work to help him get by for a few months, which ends up turning into a few years. And luckily, it helps him earn a lot more than just money.
Enter Vincent Whittman-- one of New York City's wealthiest business moguls and a famous executive film producer. When a casual conversation between him and his best friend/rival/worst enemy careens off the rails, it leads to Vincent agreeing to buy out a sex worker for the night. He stumbles upon a young, pretty hooker who goes by 'Val' and takes him back to his penthouse with promises of a hook-up, hot food, decent drugs, and more money than Val could ever know what to do with.
One thing eventually leads to another, and Valentino and Vincent find themselves going on an emotionally difficult ride that neither of them had anticipated.

And yet, everything is wrong. It's too cold. Time is moving too fast. This wasn't how life was supposed to go. This wasn't his future.
It's been years, and yet Valentino still can't forget about that dimpled, smile-worn face. Yet the other has probably forgotten about him long ago.
Valentino's still here, in the same place. Waiting. Waiting for Vincent, doing nothing but waiting in the chance he comes back.

Summary
To everyone’s dismay, the summer holidays were over and school was starting once more. That meant there were new year sevens, most people would laugh at and much less would help. Some new teachers that most definitely couldn’t teach. And of course, socializing for those who spent their five weeks off in their room.
For some people, it was their last year at the school, for others, some still had a couple more years to suffer through. But atlas, everyone still had the same motive, Survive till the next year. Easier said than done.
