Antes de irse, Setsura confiesa una verdad que todos sabían excepto Rikuo: que Tsurara lo ama. Rikuo, confundido por su naturaleza híbrida y crianza humana, no comprende los sentimientos que afloran a su causa ni la implicación de las promesas ante una yuki-onna. What if Eleven never truly escaped her "Papa"?
After defeating the Demogorgon at Hawkins Middle School and crawling out of the Upside Down, Eleven is taken back by Dr. Martin Brenner (somehow still alive after the Demogorgon attack), who is there waiting for her... a proud Papa waiting to take his little daughter home again to Hawkins National Laboratory. In order to keep her under his control for good this time, Brenner resorts to an unusual form of Stockholm Syndrome... using infantile age regression. It's only fitting; after all she did come out through the portal like a baby from a womb.
