Virgil had known his best friend had something rough going on, but the boy refused to tell him diddly squash, and now, somebody knows what's happening to Roman and is going to tell everyone if Roman doesn't reach out to anyone in the next four weeks.
How the fuck did it come to this?
And now Dakota has started to pass hanging out with him more often?
And why isn't anybody telling him anything?(The original plot has been changed, Patton and Logan are going to be side characters and Remy and Deceit have now stepped into the lime light. Why? Because this fandom lacks the Desleep I crave and I don't feel there is enough depressed Roman and semi confident Virgil.)

Everybody knew him, the 'light sides', the 'dark sides', even the emotions knew him.So it brings the question on why almost everyone hated him, he could tell you exacetly why.
He was a monster, he was cruel and ruthless, he never cared about anybody expect Thomas.
He certainly never took care of the emotions if they got hurt or sick, he never comforted Compassion when they were having a hard time, he never tried to cover his scales around sadness or fear because it scared the two younger emotions, and he most certainly never worried about his fellow dark sides if there was something bothering them.
He was just a villan along side the rest of the dark sides and there his title would remain...or would it? -

He yanked back again, mostly on instinct, pain radiating out from the grip on his jaw, knees bracing against the floor in his efforts to escape. Jax simply watched it happen, unblinking, pressing his jaw open a little wider.

Summary
That abstraction from earlier had haunted Pomni more than she wanted. It wasn't the horrifying amount of eyes it had but the darkness that it embodied. It was too much. And now she laid there in bed, worried that she might become the thing she feared the most.
Luckily, their dear ringmaster seemed to sense this and actually decided to come along to resolve the issue.
{Tldr: Pomni's afraid of the dark so Caine keeps her company.}

Pomni was feeling increasingly desperate and found herself debating the merits of trying to seduce the AI god of the circus. She could suffer in a sexless purgatory for eternity or find something enjoyable to do. Specifically Caine. No, wait that was a terrible idea. Unless?
Caine was entirely too exhausted when he found himself developing feelings he knew he shouldn't be having, but he'd found a thread of connection, and damn the consequences he'd take it-
Oh dear. That was quite a few more errors than he expected.
tldr; Caine can have an ounce of self awareness (to his detriment) and Pomni is just happy to get laid while she clings to sanity (and makes mistakes)
