Zanka seems to be holding something. Jabber's eyes gravitating towards it. It's cake.
“Had to finish the icing, took too damn long tryin' to–,” Zanka begins before being interrupted by the Raider.
“The fuck?”
Zanka hesitates. “It's yer birthday, right? Could've sworn it was…”
He looks sheepish, swaying side to side a bit, as if he doesn't know how to act. Zanka looks genuine.
Jabber's heart lurches.

Summary
Sometimes it's more shit talking, or talking shit. Sometimes it's more fighting. Sometimes, it's Zanka biting Jabber's lip and Jabber shuddering and cackling into his mouth and wanting him back, whatever Zanka has to give, all he has to give.
Normal. Usual. Been going on for so long, has come so far, transformed in so many ways, Zanka can barely remember a Jabber-less life. Doesn't particularly want to, either.
He never suspected it'd break so easily, so unexpectedly.
Zanka and Jabber are in a full on secret situationship, and have been for a long, long while. One night, Enjin stumbles upon them making out in an alley.

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.
