Summary
The group sent to the Northern Lab in search of a cure was captured. The cure was stolen, and after days of being transported across the country, they were abandoned to fend for themselves.
Ten years later, the children have grown up. The Safe Place and the TSP have joined forces, dedicating themselves to hunting down military remnants and searching for any trace of a cure. They're neither bandits nor libertarians. They're simply determined to bring this apocalypse to an end, whether they work together or alone.
Meanwhile, in Intercity, a rabbit named Richard is living what could almost be called a normal life.
Or:
A silly slow-burn romance between Georgie and Richard, an original character, where Georgie has grown into a man trained to survive even poison, ends up living with Richard, and accidentally drags him into the search for a cure.

Summary
A rip in the Mist is discovered with few escaping, returning to their lives before the Mist. Yet, Gavin, Parker, and Ryder still attempt to find traces of the Mist and free the rest of the survivors that were left behind. While doing so, Ryder meets a newly orphaned kid, later adopting him.

“We’re reading AO3, hide the weird stuff,” Derek deadpans, and the amount of chaos that one sentence generates is glorious. Avery cackles.

Summary
Mob, who finds himself still alive as a human, feels such guilt and emptiness he couldn't help but return to the arms of a being who loved him more than anything. Even when it was unhealthy, even when it was making his fragile state worse, and even when he was crossing lines he never should've crossed with a yellow ball AI.
NOTE: Obviously, this is the Mob character and not the real person. Just wanted to clarify because it might've sounded confusing when referencing the real human past the Minecraft character.
