Jannik feels his heart starting to race in his chest. “I am happy you invited me.“ He admits.
Carlos smiles at him once more. “You know, I would like to spend more time with you.” Carlos then says.
So does Jannik, but he cannot. This won’t happen, it cannot. “I wish we could.” Jannik says.
“We could” Carlos says.
Jannik looks away and shakes his head. “I … no, I don’t think so.”
“Why not?” Carlos asks.
Jannik tugs at his shirt and tries to find an excuse. “I … different scheduels and everything.”
“But not all the time, right? I am sure there must evenings where we are both free.”
Jannik knows that it will not be possible, but still he lies to make Carlos happy but also so he will let go of the topic.-----
Or: Jannik is secretly in love with Carlos, only one person knows. Instead of happiness it bring him only pain and abuse from the person who should want only his best. Carlos on the other hand, wishes Jannik would not always push him away....

Jaime has been thinking about plans to get to hang out with Jannik more and last night, he might have gotten the best idea of them all. The answer to getting to hang out more with Jannik is Carlos. Of course it is. Jaime feels so stupid for not realising it sooner. Carlos is obviously in love with Jannik and Jannik is so obviously in love with Carlos too! This realization leads Jaime to his new plan. The best way to get to Jannik is through Carlos. All Jaime needs to do is get his brother together with Jannik. And seriously, how hard can that be?
Or: Jaime wants nothing more than to befriend Jannik. He realizes that all he needs to do for that is set up his older brother with him.

• THEN jannik posted the exact same glove in his pocket
• they’re doing some sort of winter meals-together-every-night thing
