Ranboo took a deep breath in, salty air filling his lungs, staring out to the dark horizon. The line where the sea met the sky was barely visible, black on black, coalescing into a monotone canvas.

In Hypixel, you had to be eighteen or older to participate in PVP games, and these boys did not look a day over thirteen, sending a bolt of mild concern through him. One boy had a shock of unruly blond hair, the shorter one next to him sporting curly brown hair, two small goat horns poking out the top of his head. Both boys were unhealthily thin, covered in scars.

Revival fucking hurt.
With each time those damn words were scrawled into a leather bound book then burned, inked pages crumbling into ash, Tommy was pulled from limbo. Each part of him was clawed out of that peaceful place, no regard for comfort.
His body, carelessly stitched back together, dragging him back to Earth to start a new cycle of torment.
At some stage, he didn’t know which revival, a streak of his hair had turned pure white. He had liked it for a while.
Until he didn’t.

Wilbur let his head rest against the cold glass, condensation cooling the material. Rain speckled the window, blurring his view of the fields that rolled past, his head gently vibrating along the glass as the car rumbled over the rocky road.
He was stolen from his half stupor when a thud sounded from the front of the car, followed by Phil’s surprised scream and the car braking.
"Phil? You okay?" Wilbur asked.
"B-bird flew into the windscreen." His father answered with a slight stutter.
"Oh my god, is it okay?" Wilbur pushed open the car door, hopping out to scramble to the front of the car.
The bird had rolled off the bonnet and lay on the road in front of the car. It had a beautiful red and white plumage with a slew of yellowish feathers on its head. One of its wings was bleeding.Crouching down, he scooped up the bird, "Hey there little buddy, we're going to get you some help." He whispered to the small thing, bloody rainwater slipping down his wrist.
He got back into the car, now soaking wet. "Phil, get us home. We're going to patch up this guy."

They say grief is like a box, a button affixed to one side and a ball rolling across its smooth surface, moving in all different directions. This button represents pain and the box, life.
The ball starts off big in the early stages of grief, filling up your life, perhaps feeling as if it has taken over your world, suffocating you. No matter how hard you try, no matter how you move the box, the ball will slam into the button, triggering pain. People’ll deal with it differently. Some may lash out and become angry while some may withdraw, hollowing out until they’re a husk of their former self. Some may choose to stow away this pain from the public, choosing not to show how they’re being torn apart under the surface.

Summary
An old abandoned treehouse stood to the side of the decrepit mansion, wood half rotted, mould growing onto the planks. Ranboo took Tommy by the wrist, leading him closer to the building looming above them. Stone statues dotted the large front garden, people frozen in various positions.
To the left there was a statue that drew Ranboo’s attention, it had moss and mould growing in the cracks of the stone. It portrayed a person in a long, tattered gown. Mouth opened in a scream with eyes filled with fear that was somehow able to be portrayed through carved stone.
“Who would want a statue like that?” Tommy muttered from behind him.
“Not sure,” Ranboo responded as the two reached the entrance of the abandoned dwelling. “You ready to go in?”
Tommy nodded, “Yeah, let’s do this shit.”
Ranboo pushed open the doors, leading the two into the black yawn of the mansion.or
