Ever since Shadow Milk’s redemption, Pure Vanilla's life had flourished and bloomed in ways he would’ve never expected. He had a beautiful, lively kingdom and a wonderful community. Most of all, his other half, his soulmate, now lived in his walls.
But in a field of beautiful flowers, there’s always a stubborn weed.
A weed that’d been living with Pure Vanilla since his birth, and still haunted him even now. No matter how much it was plucked, by himself or others, it always came back, and it will always come back.
But how rough can you pull a weed, until it never comes back? Until delicate petals overshadow its growth? Until all you can do is be mesmerized by the good, so that the bad is barely recognizable?
How much can Shadow Milk keep pulling, and pulling, and pulling, until his beloved can do nothing else but focus on a gorgeous expanse of flowers? Until he can do nothing else but focus on him?
OR:
Pure Vanilla has had body dysphoria his entire life, and he’s reminded of his dislike for his body every single day. Shadow Milk’s duty is to make sure that the only thing he can focus on is just how beautiful he is, and how good he can make him feel, regardless of what he was born as.
