    Summary

    Deep in the forest along a winding highway, a traveler might find an eccentric little store called “Magic and Magnolias” that offers vintage jewelry, curious knick knacks, and beeswax candles to the tourists driving through-- and another service altogether to the magical community that lives in the picturesque town.

    Nat and Pepper aren't just shop owners, they are ancient witches with nothing else to do with their lifetime than meddle in matchmaking?

    Witches and familiars go together like PB&J, like hot cocoa and marsh mellows, like Sundays and sweet tea. But a mismatched pair is just trouble, and that’s when Natasha and Pepper step in to weave magic and mischief, making matches out of unlikely pairs and sitting back to watch the shenanigans unfold.

    There’s a cursed familiar and a witch who lost his magic, a brash Lion and a tiny blond afraid of his own powers, a grieving wind!witch and the familiar who finds him in the storm, a dangerous dragon and the new witch who tames his rage.

    “If you want to help me, kill me.” the familiar clenched massive hands into a fist, cut claws into his palms til blood dripped down and stained the daffodils dark. “With this collar dampening my magic you might stand a chance. Kill me."

    And then broken, “Please. Madame, I’m so tired. Release me from this life."

    “I know you’re tired.” Natasha whispered. “And I’ve come to offer you redemption.”

    “No!.” he hissed. “I’m not sorry for the blood I spilled, I do not need redemption!"

    “Not redemption for your actions.” she shook her head. “Redemption for your heart. For your soul. Balance.”

    “Balance.” the dragon’s eyes flared yellow then bright white as his powers surged. “No. Don’t you dare. Don't offer me a witch.”

    “A healer, like myself. Young, innocent, fearless. He is the perfect balance to your dragon.”

    “No.”

    "Wade." Natasha held up the heavy key that would free the dragon from his collar. “I’m not giving you a choice in the matter.”

    Of everyone who ever saw Peter's pitch black wings, only three people stayed: Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and Gwen Stacy. Two of them are dead. Peter refuses to show his wings to anyone else, ever.

    And then Wade Wilson comes along with his gorgeous white and gold wings and ruins everything.

    (Except, he's the only one who can make Peter laugh, these days, so maybe it's just a painful sort of fixing.)

    A humans wings have evolved over time into something sentimental you only ever show to the people you love the most, or when they spring out on there own when you're just to happy. Wade however has had his wings destroyed beyond his healing factor, and who would want ruined wings? Obviously not the 6 people he has shown his to. So, like many things in his life, Wade has just given up hope, but then Peter had to show up.
