Summary
Connor learned a handful of things about himself that night, Gavin was forced to be a willing ear as he rambled his way through self discovery one evening. He liked men, exclusively. And getting bent over by them was the most effective method of resetting his never ending stream of thoughts and concerns. He remembers Gavin’s eyes avoiding him and the wise advice to ‘download a hookup app, stop making this my problem’ following soon after.
Entering the tail end of the first semester of his last year in school, Connor's insistent need to task manage starts taking a toll on his productivity and output. A lifelong need to be perfect with no proper outlets of managing stress results in the worst possible coping mechanism. Gavin's negative influence doesn't seem to do much in putting Connor back on a straight path.

Connor nods, one sharp clear motion. “I am pleased to be given a new case. I am extra pleased to be given a case that has the potential to help negotiations between our people.” He pauses. “And I find I am - excited - to experience travel to a new continent with you.”
Connor and Hank, as the premiere human-android detective team, are sent to Paris to assist on a case involving unusual android-human crimes. Connor's internal protocol seem to be evolving, but Connor is unaware as to how he should label these emotions going forward. Hank is just mostly pissed off, intrigued, or pissed off and intrigued at the same time. As it turns out, they're also both fucking idiots, especially for and about each other.

The sound of computers, chatter, people in the holding cells yelling for attention. There were small things that you only heard in police stations, too. The sound of chains from handcuffs against the metal of chairs. The click of firm boot heels from new recruits as they walked the office halls. The photocopier, that despite most things being digital, seemed to manage to keep its space within their force, running nearly constantly for almost as long as Hank had been there.
It was Hank’s version of quiet, and he loved it.
Today, under Hank’s assumption, would not be a memorable day.
The exact moment that the androids went quiet, he would never forget that.
