Sighing, he lets go of his envy, welcoming the exhaustion. It would be so easy to just not care, to not think more of their arrangement than what it was, like Alhaitham clearly did. He wasn't losing sleep over it, and Kaveh definitely did not feel disappointed by the fact (the telltale itch of his eyes, the hollow at his chest, betrayed him just like his heart did).

Or: Kaveh cries in Alhaitham's bed in the middle of the night, wishing and yearning for something that might be right at his fingertips. Alhaitham does not stay asleep. -

When Kaveh was still a student, there was barely any time to think about romance, though. He noticed it alright, but always in relation to others, always too busy himself to even spare it any thought. "I’m dedicating myself to my studies", he would say to the nice aunties at the food stalls whenever they decided that he was a good enough candidate for their daughters and started to coax him into agreeing to a date. Then, "there is no time for looking for a partner when I have to make a name for myself", he would find himself answering whoever brought up the topic after his successful graduation.

Or: Kaveh has always been too busy to spare romance much thought. After some time living with Alhaitham, though, he finds himself just free enough to finally consider the matter, and what he finds is that he might not really want it as much as the whole world seems to want it. The thing is, though, he is also not necessarily against it, and when he and his roommate start to get closer, he finds that some aspects of it are... nice. And that with the right person, there really may be some appeal to the whole ordeal. -

Summary
Some rest after a time of stress is extremely needed, although at that point of the night neither Virgil nor Janus would be able to argue that they still were, in fact, watching the TV in their sleepy state. Still, they were too comfortable to move.

Summary
It was a long time since Virgil stood in the darker part of the mindscape and yet the common room was almost identical to what he remembered.

After realising some things, Virgil goes on a trip into his past. Making amends was never said to be easy, but no one could prepare him for the things that ensued after his, slightly overdue, attempt at apologising.-
I got inspired to write this one when listening to "Hold us together" by WILD, hence the title being one of the two lyrics that hit my inspiration too hard. Hope you will enjoy it!

Deceit is tired of trying to convnce the others that they should listen to him. He's tired of pretending, tired of fighting to have his words heard only to end up loosing. He's got enough of them choosing not to see his true purpose.
He's got enough of being made into a villain.
Shame no-one cares.
Bottled up feeling are never anything good.

Virgil wanted to enjoy a quiet morning watiching a sunrise with a cup of tea. What he didn't expect was to see a particular cold snake, and after that it was just some weird impulse which lead to one of the most unusual moments involving the two.

Summary
It was not unusual to see Patton sleeping on the couch, sometimes cuddling a pillow, sometimes cuddling Virgil. That’s why they finally decided to get a decent couch so that no one would wake up regretting their decisions, and honestly? It was worth the money, seeing how they were meant to get a new one sooner than later at that point.
Logan just didn't understand the fondness the others had for this specific furniture.
