Summary
A few months had passed since the facility-wide outbreak brought LAMINAX Laboratories to its knees. For a company as large as LAMINAX CO., you'd think they would have the situation under control by now... but help has not yet arrived, and supplies are limited. Join the remaining survivors of the outbreak as they try to survive against the monsters they created.
This fanfiction jumps across different POV's of survivors. I may write some spin-off chapters for different characters if I feel like doing it as well. I will likely update this slowly unless interest is shown in it yeah! I am pretty busy and this work isn't of any top priority.

An endless loop, the same thing constantly replayed over and over again. Nothing to stop it. It's the same old, same old, no expectations of anything new because there simply couldn't be. Every ending led back to the beginning.
So imagine the shock of a priest, tourist, and expendable when the loop halted. It wasn't the same old because there was something new in play.
Shocking, of course, none know just how to feel at first, only answer seemed to be pointing fingers and saying clearly the other was a threat.
Not that they knew as a group, but they knew individually that this meant there was hope for their loop to stop. For good.Through their hatred they learn that, MAYBE, they should listen to the guy who's been replaying the loop through gathering this stupid crystal and KNOWS the place, and MAYBE that guy should stop being a prick and learn to communicate.
He can say it's because they haven't had human contact in years worth of this loop all he wants, but can he really tell himself that's what it is when his mind goes blank at the thought of losing these people?

Virgil had lived at the orphanage his whole life, in the human side of town, where he, as a human, belonged. He liked the orphanage he lived at. He knew what to expect there, he understood how everything worked, it was all familiar. Comfortable.
But that comfortable life was torn to pieces when he turned eighteen and thus officially aged out of being under the orphanage's care. He didn't have a job, he didn't have a driver's license, he didn't have any friends, and the orphanage legally couldn't take care of him anymore. So basically, he had no home. After constant fruitless efforts, the orphanage finally found one household willing to house him and pay his living expenses!
Great, right? Except there was one problem. Not a single house in the human side of town was willing to take him in. So how had they found somewhere?!
Of course, of COURSE, that question just had to have a bullshit answer like this...
Which was, since his life was just going handy dandy as it was, that they had, in fact, found said household...
