Summary
When Akko sees her first broom race in person as a child, she is awed by one of Earth’s designated pilots for the Inter-Planetary Race, the Witch Chariot, and her broom-racer, the Shiny Rod. In that moment, she decides to become a Witch, like her idol. Akko's plans for this—through attending Luna Nova’s piloting education program—may get thrown off course entirely, however, when Amanda's attempt to gain a position in the next IPR drags Akko into the Planetary Alliance’s base on Earth.
Thrown head-first into the biggest sports event in the explored universe, along with the rediscovered Shiny Rod aka "the best ship to ever exist," she'll have to face the other designated pilots of several different sentient races alongside the rest of Earth's team: Amanda, Diana, and Hannah.
Guided by the coach Ursula, will Akko be able to win on planets so unlike Earth - ones that glow by night? Seem to be made of metal? That lack gravity? Will she be able to make friends with Diana? Will Hannah and Amanda ever stop fighting? With all the unprecedented happenings, will Akko be able to uncover the truth behind the mysteries surrounding this year's Inter-Planetary Race?
There's only one way to find out!

Summary
Akko Kagari is impulsive, reckless and has little control over her natural element of fire. Yet she is about to be faced with the challenge of a lifetime (or many lifetimes). She is the Avatar and the fate of the world will depend on if she’s ready to step up and take on this role.
Akko has one small problem; she must master all the elements and somehow avoid dying before achieving her destiny.
With her friends to support her, a secretive mentor to guide her, and a certain annoyingly beautiful/talented/perfect waterbender, Akko might just have a fighting chance.Or: An Avatar The Last Airbender AU that no one asked for. (May also have elements and ideas from Legend of Korra) It’s really just everything in a blender at this point.

Summary
When Mahou Shoujo Shiny Chariot (the greatest magical girl anime to ever exist, obviously), was cancelled after four seasons, young Atsuko Kagari wasn't going to take that lying down. If Shiny Studios weren't gonna continue the story, then it was up to her to do it, through the magic of fan fiction!
Unfortunately, Akko is not very good at writing fanfic. Even more unfortunately, this fact was eventually noticed by LadyBeatrice, the most popular author in the entire Shiny Chariot fandom. Although if you ask Akko, her fics kinda suck anyway. Thus begins a mighty flamewar and a rivalry for the ages, which will definitely not develop into anything more. After all, what are the chances that they just happen to be going to the same university?
[Alternatively; Akko and Diana both write really bad anime fanfic and just happen to be going to the same university]
