The angel was beautiful, but it was his wings that caught the imp’s attention. The angel stretched them as though having just woken from a long nap and needing to move out of the sleep from his body. The wings were made of black, grey, and white feathers, and their span was massive. He beat them once, and the great motion forced back the willow branches.
Those wings, lovely and grand, were so unlike his own.
“Whoa,” the imp whispered, and the angel’s head turned in his direction.

I have no doubt that within the next few weeks he will incriminate himself, his little plaything will assume it is over and leave him for good, and then I can provide his messages as proof of his affair.”
There was still silence on the line.
“Stella, I need you to tell me verbally that you understand me. I cannot hear you nodding.”
OR: Andrealphus hatches a plan to prove Stolas is having an affair. It backfires. Horrifically.

The coffee that was currently sitting in front of him was light in color, an obvious sign that too much oat milk had been added, something that he fucking couldn’t stand. If he was going to be paying six dollars for a damn coffee, it was going to be made the way it should be made, and if it were any other coffee shop and any other barista, Blitzø would have stomped his way to the front counter and demanded they remake it correctly.
But it wasn’t any other coffee shop and it wasn’t any other barista, it was the coffee shop on the opposite side of campus from where his dorm was and the barista was -
Tall, attractive, overly polite, someone Blitzø wanted to climb like a fucking tree -
Well, he was something that Blitzø refused to acknowledge, so he just glared at his coffee cup and sat there.
“He’s the worst,” he muttered under his breath.

They were still feeling it all out, learning how to date, live together, and work together without everything becoming too much of a tangled-up shitstorm. It was whatever — still kinda new, casual, low-pressure. Blitzø didn’t wake up every morning, look over at Stolas all curled up with crust in the corners of his eyes and drool half-dried in his feathers, and realize that he understood exactly what all those sappy ballads on the radio were wailing about. And he DEFINITELY didn’t have to constantly ignore that pulsing pit in his stomach, scarily deep and black as blood, that insisted it was all going to blow up one day (just like everything else, everyone else) and when it did, it would be entirely his fault.
So, y’know. Nooooo big deal.

It's been nearly a year since Stolas was disowned by the Goetia family, losing his riches, his home, and his job. It's also been five and a half months since Stolas and Blitzø officially became a couple. Blitzø is still struggling to feel like he deserves any of it.
Well, he knows one thing for sure. His boyfriend wants a winter under the stars, and Blitzø is gonna figure out how to give it to him, one way or another.
