Summary
Ascendance of a Bookworm if whichever God who reincarnated Myne didn’t set her up for near failure. Rozemyne is reborn as the first child of Aub Ehrenfest, and her biggest wish upon death is actually granted rather than ignored. The story of an Urano who is raised a lady and given free reign of the castle library until it, horrifyingly, runs out of new books!! What to do??
*There are some dark themes in this story that contrast with the cutesy and funny, just a warning. It won’t always be that way, but noble culture is pretty cutthroat.
**This story was written on a whim without any kind of plan or editing, and therefore it is not anywhere close to my current standard for my original, as of yet unpublished work. Please read at your own peril. First drafts are usually a mess, and I will likely never put this story through the ringer of 8 drafts like I did my first book I’m going to try to publish in the next couple years. Because of this, I appreciate any feedback given on the story in the event that I do choose to improve it one day, as such feedback can inspire my work in future chapters. I’m truly honoured that this little story has received such a warm welcome in the Ascendance fandom.

No one is keeping him from his all Goddess, Rozemyne. Not even the true Goddess Hylia.If you want more crack written seriously, this is the place for you.
If you have never played this video game before, it really doesn’t matter. You’ll learn everything at the same speed Ferdinand does.
If you’ve never read Ascendance of a Bookworm, don’t worry, Ferdinand doesn’t remember much to begin with either. Things will come back to him over time. To give you an idea of who he is, he’s a hyper-competent research-type with lots of battle experience.

Summary
The term “demon” is a bit misguided. Just because all demons are monsters that can use words doesn’t mean that all monsters that can use words are demons.
Rhea is an odd monster who learned to speak over time. An advanced form of skeleton, she dedicated the first three centuries of her indefinite life surviving and researching magic. She spent the fourth fleeing alongside the wave of terrified demons as the Hero’s Party plunged deep into demon territory, eventually seizing the Demon King’s head.
Rhea didn’t particularly care for the language-using manipulators she was so often lumped in with, but with the fall of the Demon King, humans pushed farther north than ever before. They surrounded her on all sides, eager to exterminate her as the flesh-eating creature she very much was not. To escape their wrath, Rhea devised a plan using her research: she’ll replace the soul of an animal and take over its body. Her plan goes haywire, then, when an actual demon a little too curious for her own good wanders into the ritual.
Join Rhea when she finds herself holding a set of silly bronze scales and wearing a far-too skimpy outfit for her tastes. And wait… is that purple hair? Just who wandered onto her ritual?

Sephiroth taunted Cloud from above, "Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away."
Cloud replied, perhaps without thinking of the consequences, "I pity you. You just don't get it at all. There's not a thing I don't cherish."
All too happy to take everything from Cloud, Sephiroth obliged him. Sadly, for Sephiroth, things didn't quite go as planned.It happened so quickly. Cloud could hardly understand what he was seeing when finally, he dropped from midair and slammed through one floor, and then another and then left a solid impact crater on yet another floor. Alarms blared in the distance and electricity sparked from the damage. Cloud faced a closed window and saw several once destroyed but somehow now intact reactors release exhaust into the sky.
"What the?" The voice of a child exclaimed.
Cloud looked in the reflection of the window and saw Zack. A very much alive, much younger, currently slack-jawed, Zack.

Or, after his fight with Antares, Jin-Woo tried to use the Cup of Reincarnation. Something went wrong and he got sent back in time, just a little too late to save everyone. Alone in a new timeline, he still tries to live on, to protect what can be protected. Meanwhile, others are just watchers - passengers of a burning train they can not stop. The only thing they can do is look, so they do exactly that.
