Summary
Wile E., also known by the Navajo people as Coyote (mąʼii in their language), was a fifteen year old youth in the midst of his trials to become an adult when he made the worst possible decision, choosing a swift Apache raider (chishí) as the prey he must capture to earn a name among his people. Following a tragic outcome brought about by his own arrogance, he is forced to leave his people behind and take a vow of silence. He will not utter another word until he manages to catch the infuriating Road Runner and finally wins the right to return home.
Also known as: Navajo Coyote and mixed Apache-Rarámuri Road Runner in an eternal chase... or a bizarre courtship? Anything it takes for them both to return home as functional adults.

Summary
He shouldn’t have done it.
Sleeping with his king — in the state Arthur was in that night.
The worst part is, he doesn’t even remember all of it.— Just enough. The kiss. Arthur’s mouth, warm against his own. The breathless moans pulled from his throat. The way it felt like he was drunk — but even without the potion that caused all of this, Merlin knew one touch from Arthur would make him feel like he'd spent two whole weeks drinking in the tavern.
And flashes of what came next.
Enough to know that this time, he truly fucked up.
So when he wakes, naked in his king’s bed, Merlin does the only thing he can — he grabs his clothes and runs.
He barely makes it to Gaius’s chambers, disheveled and panicked, only to find the old man already holding the book Merlin now realizes — far too late — he mistranslated.
And in that moment, it hits him. There is no undoing this.“Merlin,” Gaius says, voice low “pack your things. Go as far away as you can."
“You’re carrying His Majesty’s child.”Or
Arthur was being too much, and Merlin—a clumsy fool—mistranslated an ancient text and brewed a potion meant to calm His Majesty, only to end up pregnant with the king’s child instead.

He doesn’t even know if that’s truly possible - a soulmate by the very definition is your other half, the one meant for you. Merlin had always presumed that his soulmate would also have magic because what other choice was there?
AU where Uther approves of soulmates and does everything he can to support Merlin as Arthur's destiny.
