Summary
When Kaveh got back from the desert, Alhaitham was different. No one else could see it but him, and that's because theirs was the bond that was supposed to be strongest. But it's been years since they would truly call each other friend, and now Alhaitham has an experience that Kaveh can't come close to. Nostalgia is so useless; Kaveh's heart aches with it and all he wants is to go back.
(Alhaitham and Kaveh navigating their relationship. Third person, Kaveh's POV, tags will update as it goes, side Cynoari. About 7-8 chapters in the timeline, half of it is written. Please do check the author's notes for more spoiler-y warnings if you need them.)

Summary
The architect, in a moment of rage and spite, grabbed the wire of the headset and yanked it as hard as he possibly could, effectively ripping the cord from the port and rendering the device useless.
AlHaitham’s face fell almost immediately, just as his body froze and realization washed over him. He stared at the earpiece in Kaveh’s hands, his eyes wide with shock.

Kept these Words Behind My Tongue by Pantalonely for dominicgray

Summary
Kaveh scowls at Alhaitham from across table, cinnabar eyes narrowed under the blades of his golden lashes. His showy pen hovers over the trace paper.
“You were doing that thing again,” Alhaitham says, returning his expression. “That thing with your tongue.”
Sticking it out, that is, the moist pink tip curled temptingly over his lower lip. It happens more often than not whenever Kaveh’s concentration slips into deep focus. Of all the man’s terrible habits—and Alhaitham can enumerate several of them—this one has to be the most infuriating.
Kaveh still sticks his tongue out when he concentrates. Alhaitham still notices. He’s beginning to think it’s time to show Kaveh just how distracting a tongue can be.
Inspired by dominicgray’s fic “hide behind these words.”

Summary
Childe and Zhongli are dating, happily enjoying the Lantern Rite together.
And then Childe starts thinking that calling Zhongli 'xiansheng' is too neutral, too formal, he definitely needs another honorific now that they're so close. Something that could be enough to convey what he wants to say.
Hilarity, light-hearted moments and funny quiproquos ensue. After all, it's hard to learn another language sometimes!

“You’re interrupting my work.”
“Am I?” Childe replied, his voice dripping with smugness.
“Yes.”
“Awh, don’t be like that, Xiansheng.”
Zhongli’s demeanor faltered at the last word, sending a sliver of satisfaction up Childe’s spine. He knew that was one of Zhongli’s weaknesses. The other man always treated him rougher whenever Childe referred to him with that title, gripping him hard enough to leave bruises on his skin the next day.

The next several years are a blur.
Diluc doesn’t feel. He doesn’t heal. This might be the numbest he’s ever been but he wouldn’t even know, as it’s been so long that he can’t remember things being any other way. Crying beneath his father seems like a memory of distant past, one that feels too unlike himself. It was a brief moment of weakness that he can hardly remember.
He grows colder, colder, colder still.
Or: Diluc's father takes everything from him. The rest of his world spirals with it.
