Summary
A dark Wen Yuan AU based off of (with permission) the awesome comic by pakhnokh
Chapters 1-3 are the original getting together fic about Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian, and can stand alone.
Chapters 4-6 are a Wen Yuan coming of age story.In this alternate universe, WWX did not die during the first siege at the Burial Mounds, and has raised A-Yuan as his son and only disciple, living with the rest of the Wens. He does not leave Luanzang Hill, and A-Yuan meets with other sects on his behalf. The outside world has not seen him since he closed himself off within the "strongest fucking barrier known to the cultivation world." But now, with the return of ferocious corpses that the cultivation world cannot handle, the blame falls to the Yiling Laozu. LWJ has not seen WWX since rescuing him from Nightless City and confessing to him in the Demon-Salughtering Cave. He has taken WWX's distance as a rejection of his love.

((This is a quick little post-cannon extra to my fic Bury My Heart on the Lonely Mountain. It takes place in that au after the main events of the story.))
Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were content to just sit and be together. Between them was a small wooden table laden with the mooncakes accompanied by hot tea. Wei WuXian reclined across the slope of the roof, as he was wont to do, and watched Lan Zhan pour the tea.
