Summary
The two villains were discovered by luck and accident - a pair of elite assassins that worked quickly and quietly, existing as nothing more than whispers in the night.
The footage they’d been caught on, initially collected for a missing person’s case was reclassified to a murder and given the designation of a quirked crime.
It was promptly dropped into the lap of one Tsukauchi Naomasa who has no idea how he is going to go about arresting these two highly skilled, masked individuals when he knows next to nothing about them.
And to make matters worse, Eraserhead’s former-vigilante-maybe-child-soldier foster son seems to recognize them.
Or: A pair of shinobi show up in Road to Nowhere and dredge up a lot of ugly memories and uncomfortable questions for Katoshi.
Or or: Katoshi’s dreams of having someone from his old world with him come true. Except, instead of a friendly (or even neutral) face he gets stuck with the Worst Possible Option.

I *inhales deeply* LOVE this fic.
Lily has run out of fucks to give to anyone and Kakuzu finds out that he has a heart somewhere in there (an emotional one, he has plenty of physical hearts imo).
I’m all for insert-ocs spectacularly derailing canon to save people or kill people or to just fuck shit up - but the ‘Jashin gets a power boost if you change the future’ angle for at least trying to stick to canon was really interesting and honestly unique.
10/10. Amazing.

On paper, the Hero Commission's plan to investigate Midoriya Izuku under the guise of a training course for combating mental quirks is solid; foolproof, even. If Midoriya turns out to be innocent, they can pass everything off as part of the training exercise, assuming he remembered any of it. Otherwise, they could beg forgiveness after the traitor was securely imprisoned in Tartarus.
The paper plan failed to take into account the feral ghosts living in Midoriya Izuku's head, or his equally feral living friends.
Time to bring on the chaos.
