The scrape of gravel and too-dry dirt were muffled against the furious pounding in his head, cruelly mimicking that of the doctor's own heartbeat. One he'd came to recognise, now twisted and abnormal. Scared. Pulse rapidly accelerating, as though the doctor had only just realised the sheer incomprehensible vastness of the danger he'd willingly dropped himself into.

Summary
Shadow milk had achieved redemption, with some help from a particular vanillian king. Now going by the name 'blueberry milk' instead, he calls to the other beasts. If even the beast of deception can become better, then surely the others can too. Right?

Shadow milk, now going by Blueberry milk, has finally achieved redemption. And of course, he wants to share this new way of life with the other beasts! Why wouldn't he want to include his old friends after all?

Summary
Golden Cheese Cookie just heard word that Burning Spice Cookie had attacked and brutally maimed Blueberry Milk Cookie, and decides to curse him with the spirits of servents she is unable to revive due to being killed by the beast of destruction. After a battle that she emerges victorious from, he tells her of a ritual that makes her force him to help her start it. The ingridents are all over the Lands of Spice, however, so how will this unlikely duo do when getting these ingredients?

The bow is always easy to string, Telemachus finds. It is easy to pull back, to shoot. It always lands in the middle of the target. His mother was not there to congratulate him anymore.
There is silence in the castle now. The suitors, bitter, had left, wanting to find a wife. The servants have withered. The animals had shied away from the new King, bewildered by the absence of his mother with her clever, constantly moving hands, and the warmth she had taken down to Hades with her. The guards and army shy away from Telemachus, with his cruel face and awkward hands.

Summary
The night before they depart, Pure Vanilla stumbles upon a breakthrough. A book, burned and scarred from the ages, but detailing the proper steps to starting a relationship. Dating back to Shadow Milk’s time, perhaps this will let him break past the other’s shell and finally make have the other take him up on his offer of friendship! All he has to do is follow these steps, and they should be friends in no time, as the book says!
Shadow Milk, for his part, is thrown by his counterpart suddenly flipping the script and trying to woo him.
