Summary
When the U.S.S Voyager stumble upon a quantum rift can they figure out how to close it before it's too late? What will be sacrificed in the attempts...what will be gained?
This is a time travel story, however Janeway maintains her memory. Some other characters do as well along the way.
"“I’m disappointed that you won’t follow my advice yet again Captain, but I…” he glanced at Chakotay “understand that you might want some time with the Commander. I’ll send the hypospray with some analgesia and additional nutrients to your replicator. Please make sure you have a meal before I see you again or you might find you fall down and don’t get back up next time. Commander, please make sure she doesn’t skip the meal and that she takes it easy. Her body has been through a lot and need some time to rest.”
“Thank you Doctor, dismissed.” The captain said, a hint of irritation in her voice below the fatigue.
The doctor left the room, and they heard as the doors to her quarters permitted him to exit.
Chakotay was really confused. He’d come for dinner with Kathryn to find her looking beat up and near passing out from what?"

Chakotay is ready to move on after his divorce, which divided much of the Voyager community, and destroyed his friendship with Kathryn.
Will a chance encounter bring them together, or give them the final nudge to move on?
