Summary
It had been seven years since Monsters resurfaced, and tension between the human and monster races was finally beginning to reach a boiling point. You had just graduated college, and could barely make due with your grocery store job. With attacks and riots beginning to plague the city, living alone in your run down apartment was slowly becoming harder and harder to bare.
But one night, upon finding yourself amidst a dangerous bar fight, a tall dark stranger appears…and saves your life.
This is how you meet W.D. Gaster. The man who could single (or multiple) handedly change everything.

Summary
"Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies: the past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort."
-The Body Keeps The Score, Bessel van der Kolk
Dr. W.D. Gaster is not a happy man...but he had been, once. Perhaps he could be again.
...and he can't stop thinking about you. Can't make himself stop thinking about you.
A story in which love, quite literally, saves the world.

Summary
Doctor Wingdings Gaster is back from the dead- a Christmas miracle if there's ever been one -and he can't stop thinking about the woman who saved his life, whose living room he destroyed as he exploded back into existence. Who wept over him as she apologized again and again, not knowing how to help.
How can he repay you?
(Heroism Effect- The sociological instance, opposite of the well known 'bystander effect', in which a stranger shows exemplary leadership and empathy in a moment of crisis.)

Summary
In a moment of pure chance, two years after the barrier fell and he blinked back into existence, Gaster met a Mage as old as he is...and honestly, wasn't sure what to do with himself. He doesn't do much better at your subsequent run-ins either.
But stars, he just can't stop thinking about you. About what you are, what you can do...the world you both remember.

Summary
Shizen Y/n comes from a long line of female demon slayers who wield the family breathing style, Earth breathing. Earth breathing stands for everything you believe in: strength, resilience, independence, but comes at the high price of shouldering your family's trauma. Generational demon slaying is never a sweet story, but luckily, there's someone else in the corps who understands the burden of living up to their family name... When you enter this world of death and destruction, Rengoku Kyojuro makes all the pain worth it.
This is the story of when the Earth pillar fell in love with the flame pillar, and the journey they go on to save humanity.--------------------
This fic will follow along the KNY plot, with a few minor detours and changes (Kyojuro lives). All spoilers will be clearly marked. For timeline purposes, I'm working in my own ~assumed~ timelineFic Warnings:

Summary
Being a detective has its ups and downs, but nothing could compare to the decade long cat and mouse game you were playing with the Mafia Boss W.D Gaster. However, the lines were a little blurred when it came down to who was the mouse in this game– especially when you find a strange letter by your front door.
