Summary
"Traumatized people chronically feel unsafe inside their bodies: the past is alive in the form of gnawing interior discomfort."
-The Body Keeps The Score, Bessel van der Kolk
Dr. W.D. Gaster is not a happy man...but he had been, once. Perhaps he could be again.
...and he can't stop thinking about you. Can't make himself stop thinking about you.
A story in which love, quite literally, saves the world.

Summary
Doctor Wingdings Gaster is back from the dead- a Christmas miracle if there's ever been one -and he can't stop thinking about the woman who saved his life, whose living room he destroyed as he exploded back into existence. Who wept over him as she apologized again and again, not knowing how to help.
How can he repay you?
(Heroism Effect- The sociological instance, opposite of the well known 'bystander effect', in which a stranger shows exemplary leadership and empathy in a moment of crisis.)

Summary
Shizen Y/n comes from a long line of female demon slayers who wield the family breathing style, Earth breathing. Earth breathing stands for everything you believe in: strength, resilience, independence, but comes at the high price of shouldering your family's trauma. Generational demon slaying is never a sweet story, but luckily, there's someone else in the corps who understands the burden of living up to their family name... When you enter this world of death and destruction, Rengoku Kyojuro makes all the pain worth it.
This is the story of when the Earth pillar fell in love with the flame pillar, and the journey they go on to save humanity.--------------------
This fic will follow along the KNY plot, with a few minor detours and changes (Kyojuro lives). All spoilers will be clearly marked. For timeline purposes, I'm working in my own ~assumed~ timelineFic Warnings:

However, the lines were a little blurred when it came down to who was the mouse in this game– especially when you find a strange letter by your front door.

Summary
Once upon a time, You had everything.
You were born into a loaded family. It goes without saying, anyone in their right mind would have stayed, until college, at least.
Not you, though.
At thirteen, you chose to leave the security of your family’s wealthiness. You ran away.
You left it all behind and built a new life for yourself in the slums of Ebott City.
It was a dangerous life, the one you created, and at times you're not sure why you stay.
You fight for money under the table at an illegal combat ring called The Grounds.
Rents overdue, You lose more than you win, and chronic pain follows you wherever you go.
Sometimes you wish you had a better life, but with no identification, and no idea how to get your life together, You remain stuck in a routine of headaches, injuries, and waking up next to dumpsters.
You never expected help, because you've never had a friend to be concerned for you.
Then you met the living version of Slenderman.
Now, help won't leave you alone.Bookmarked by TrinTerrance

No protection fees and no catch... you decide to get to the bottom of it, and the Don on the block isn't too happy with that.
