Clarke knows she's not the greatest witch out there, but that's fine because she's good at what she does. Until she needs help, and who better to take advice from than a demon? Sure, doing a summoning spell at midnight wasn't her best idea, and she never intended for the spell to bind her to a high ranking demon for seven days and seven nights.
But it's fine, her life is fine, especially when a sickness she can't figure out threatens the lives of everyone in her community. She can figure that out and deal with a demon who threatens her with a carnal ritual if they can't get out of this spell.
