This work is going to remain incomplete. My understanding and perspective on the characters have so fundamentally changed, I can't see a way to finish this story the way I started it. Unfortunately, that means it will never be Complete. -

Summary
Hand to Mouth: having or providing nothing to spare beyond basic necessities.
After an inspection of the atelier, the Knights Moralis deem Qifrey an unfit master, and potentially a criminal. Standard practice would have his memories wiped and his apprentices reassigned elsewhere. But Coco, a former outsider targeted by the Brimcaps, is not a standard apprentice.

Coco thinks about the spell that Qifrey intended to use to save Custas from the Silverwood, the one he said is the only cure. She decides she doesn't like that answer, and takes it into her own hands.

Summary
Olruggio was in love with his best friend. Qifrey's actions made it clear that he didn't love him back, at least not in the way Olruggio wanted to be loved. No matter how many times he tried to get over it, his heart had made it's choice, and it wouldn't let go.

Summary
Qifrey is tasked with helping to extinguish an unnatural wildfire on the surface. It would be a lot easier if he didn’t have the compounding hardships of a misunderstanding with his best friend and the incessant, piercing pain in his head to contend with.
