Summary
Castiel has, for the most part, made peace with his failing powers. It’s been years since he could fly about as he pleases, and even longer still since his last time travel experience, but it’s been fine. He’s learned how to hold his own both in combat and in life without relying on the strength that he’d once had, even learned how to drive so that he doesn’t have to rely on anyone for transportation.
And, no matter what other angels say, Castiel firmly believes that feeling is the best part of his existence. Every low, every heartbreak and rush of anger is quickly overshadowed by relief or happiness or love. Cas loves the feeling of love. He wouldn’t trade it for all the physical strength in the universe.
But right now, heart in his throat as Dean is flung across the room and into the cement wall of the warehouse that currently houses a nest of vampires, Castiel wishes for nothing more than the ability to take the other man in his arms and whoosh them both far away from here. Especially when Dean doesn’t get back up.
Dean gets hurt on a hunt, all Cas wants is to keep him safe.

For reasons Wade doesn't quite understand, Spider-Man has taken a liking to him, which is wonderful because he's been smitten with Spidey since he first saw him... except Wade is Wade and Spidey must be a little bit delusional to want to be around him.
That's alright though, Wade hasn't been sane for a long time either and he's not about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
