Summary
I spent the last year and a half reading every Re:Zero reaction fic I could find, and now, here’s my own attempt at a worldwide reaction. The world watches Re:zero, arcs 1-9.
Credit to the writers who came before me, especially Feopyr and “The 4 Nations Witness the Strongest Existence". I used their viewing-description template, and Feopyr, if you feel this crosses a line, just tell me — I’ll remove it and write my own, (please don’t, it would take forever).
I wrote this out of spite because I wanted to prove I could. Whoever said writing is fun is a liar, but it does calm me down. After reading so many fics, I figured out what formats I liked and daydreamed scenarios nonstop until the ao3 curse forced me to finally make my own.Fun fact: if you check Feopyr’s comments, you’ll see me praising their work; two days later I got a fever for three days, and wrote 30,000 words at once.
So here it is — my attempt.I want advice. Real advice. Grammar, characterization, missed details, ideas for future arcs — everything. And if anyone wants to beta read, let me know in the comments.

Summary

Of course, he isn’t the type to hold onto vain idealistic hopes. He knew this moment would come eventually, he’s even started drafting a mental plan for encountering each of the Thieves, pondering the exact things to say to push all their buttons and make sure they never contacted him again. I killed your mother, I killed your father, I deceived your sister, I shot you in the head twice, all the classics, all the hits.
He just never considered Yoshizawa could be the first to find him, much less that she’d be staring at him outside a physiotherapy clinic with a look a little in between “witnessing the wonders of nature” and “being held at gunpoint”.

Summary
