Jackie inhales gingerly, passing the joint to Van before exhaling. “Whatever…”
“Yeah ‘whatever’ Jackie,” Natalie mimics Jackie’s sullen tone. “Stop acting like such a prude. I suck dick so what? I don’t see you shying away from indirect dicksucking.”
Jackie bristles at the wrap around, how neatly Natalie refocuses the topic of contempt. At the same time, Van chokes on smoke, laughing. “Fuck– indirect dicksucking, god do not imply that. I’m smoking too.” She comically gazes at the filter, pulling a face before playfully handing it off to Natalie.

Kate, reasonably on edge from her apartment being broken into again by Yelena, shakes her head with a bewildered expression. “I, um…no. I’m not hurt.” She looks around, trying to understand the utter absurdity of the situation. It’s almost two in the morning and Yelena Belova has once again invaded her home. “Um…what the hell is happening?”
Yelena blinks, unsure of where to start. 'I jumped off the second tallest building in the world and then everything fell apart' doesn't sound right. So instead, she settles for the most simple but true thing she can:
“I was worried about you.”

It's been a week since New York City was temporarily covered in shadow and then subsequently saved by the 'New Avengers.'

Yelena has spent a long time waking up-waking up from the trance of being a widow, waking up after being dust for five years, and waking up without her reproductive organs...something she may not have necessarily wanted to use,but may have wanted anyways.
Now she is waking up to the fact that after the battle of the Thunderbolts, visiting Kate in New York is nice. Kate is pleasant and strong and has a cute dog, and her hair smells nice...And dammit, Yelena is not completely comfortable with the feelings the archer is evoking.
Between Bucky and Walker trying to be her wingmen, Bob offering quiet encouragement, and Kate being ridiculously patient, Yelena slowly wakes up into the possibilities she didn't know were available to her.
