Summary
Izuku wakes only with the knowledge of his name and vague useless facts about the world around him. He carries on, making friends and learning what he can of where, who and what he is within the mortal realm ruled by the gods.
He learns of the world’s doom, his friend’s plight to prevent it and discovers his memories locked away in stones of worship.
Among the revelations of a several thousand year power struggle and the truths that lie between realms, Izuku discovers that he cannot allow his friend to suffer alone and endeavors to give his all to help her.
Even at the cost of his own life.

I’ll be nice to you about it, not just because someone should, but because I can tell you without even reading it that it’s good.”
“You cannot possibly know that,” Samira blurts out.
He looks at her with an expression that’s stuck halfway between inquisitive and amused; the left side of his mouth threatens a smile. “Sure I can. I know you.”
