Lando finished his set of weights when he started to feel uneasy on his feet, it wasn’t unusual for him lately to feel off balance while working out, he normally sat down, drunk his water and went back at it. So that’s what he did. Silently watching Carlos on the treadmill, quickly wiping the water that dribbled from his mouth.
He climbed back to his feet, pushing his headphones back into his ears. Lando stepped towards the bar, his hands clasping over the bar like he always did. He picked the bar up fine; it was only once he’d dropped the weight back down that stars started to fill his eyes. The Brit shook his head, closing his eyes for a second to try and compose himself.
Lando opened his eyes, and he could feel his knees starting to buckle underneath him, he took a big step back from the bar, before his body crumpled to the floor. The hard gym floor unwelcoming, his body thudding down with force.

It’s not like Lando enjoys saying ‘hey, so I’ve got an anxiety disorder so severe that sometimes my body physically shuts down because I’m panicking so much. And I need alphas around me that I don’t see as a threat who can ground me and maybe draw me out of it.’
He hates exposing his weaknesses in a way that he’s trained against for years, his biology already making him seem vulnerable to too many people. It’s hard enough for Lando to get taken seriously, being the youngest omega on the grid. He can feel a sharp pitch of worry, the kind that makes his fingers start to curl in and his skin feel too tight.
