When Dunk left Ser Arlan and made for the tourney at Ashford, Ser Arlan was not, in fact, dead. With his mentor gravely ill, and no funds left for his care Dunk had no choice but to enter the tourney himself and try to earn something to help Ser Arlan only to get swept up in the chaos of everything to follow.
And Ser Arlan? He recovered and reached Ashford just in time to hear of a Trial of Seven held to judge a mysterious new knight called Ser Duncan the Tall. What in the seven hells has Dunk gotten himself into?

Summary
Ilya is becoming a big celebrity pulling away from the confinement of the hockey world. Jet setting all over to film ad campaigns and do photoshoots to get his face plastered over magazine covers. It's starting to seem like Shane only ever sees him when he's on a magazine cover or a commercial on his tv screen.
5 times Shane wishes he could be there with Ilya in person but has to deal with having him in bite sized pieces on a screen or a magazine. Plus one time he gets to sit back and watch as Ilya works for the cameras in the comfort of their kitchen.
Chapter 3 preview:
Stood atop a marble pedestal surrounded by brilliant fabric shrubbery was what could only be described as the statue of David except a little bit more modest as they'd covered his crotch and one hundred percent certainly ilya rozanov.

A new Russian player, Dimitri Novikov, is drafted onto the Ottawa Centaurs in the same season that Shane Hollander is unceremoniously traded from the Montreal Voyageurs. His reasons for leaving Montreal are unclear, and the reasons he chose Ottawa are even less so. However, as Dimitri begins to suspect that Shane secretly knows Russian, his curiosity ends up getting him wrapped up in a relationship he didn’t even know existed. But perhaps a little turbulence is what Shane and Ilya needed to realize their relationship is strong enough to weather anything that comes their way.

"Hayes!" He calls while he knocks loudly on the door. "Ilya!" he adds, just in case.
Wyatt opens the door a minute later. Shane can't help but chuckle. He's still wearing a costume, one that Shane doesn't recognize, and his shirt is stained with something that stinks of really strong alcohol. His hair is sticking up in all directions and he's squinting. "Hollander, what the hell."
"I could ask you the same thing," Shane crosses his arms, taking a look inside Wyatt's hotel room. Ilya doesn't seem to be there, and the anxiety starts reaching his heart, turning its beating erratic. Shane's mostly annoyed, if he's being honest, but there's this feeling twirling in his gut. He doesn't like not knowing where Ilya is. "Where the hell is my husband?"
Hayes blinks.
"What?"Or, after a bad depressive episode and a terrified confession, Ilya made a promise to his husband. He swore he would never, ever leave him. And he'll be damned if he doesn't keep his promise, even if he has to fight strangers, jump off a moving car and cross the whole Nevada desert. He will get back to Shane, even if it's the last thing he does.
