Something was off.Mona, usually razor-sharp, had begun faltering. She misnamed a constellation. She reversed an astrological law. She called Layla “Lisa” once.
The chalk in her hand dropped, twice.
Wanderer leaned forward on his seat, watching her with narrowed eyes. His smirk faltered as she stumbled over the phrase “celestial convergence” and nearly said “celestial caress .”
A pause . She flushed violently, then pretended to sneeze. “…Stars above,” she muttered, eyes glassy. “Why is it so warm in here?”
“Are you drunk on your own ego or is this part of the demonstration?” Wanderer quipped, but there was no real heat in it now.
Mona blinked at him. Her expression had shifted, no longer annoyed, but... soft. Too soft.
That’s when he knew something was wrong.
So he straightened. “Alright,”voice slicing through the murmurs. “Lecture’s over. Out. All of you.”

Summary
”Um… Hat Guy?” The unprecedentedly meek (and cute) dragon murmurs after her Wanderer. He turns, eyeing the little thing as it shuffles anxiously on her porch. He sighs, gesturing haphazardly.
“Mage; Durin, Durin; Mage. Happy now?” He crosses his arms, and though there’s no change in his tone Mona can tell by the way his arms tense that he’s getting impatient. “Come inside, before someone sees you.”

.In advance of Durin’s transmutation, the Wanderer accompanies him to Mondstadt. Mona resolves to give the little dragon one last day of his childhood before he sets out for the future.

Summary
He hadn’t meant to go to Dragonspine. Or rather, he had, just not that way, tiring her out with sex, then sneaking out of the house as she slept. The sex also hadn’t been part of the plan (at least, not in that exact moment) but after three months with barely any contact, seeing Mona’s pouting face under that dumb hat and knowing he had all it took to push her buttons – blowing on her ear to make her laugh not matter how much she resisted, then getting on his knees to make that face., and that blush was all the permission he needed – how could it go any other way? Besides, Mona was far from harmless herself; she gave as good as she took, literally and figuratively.
And oh, if only she realized how much she took. She was the only person who laughed with him.
