Consolation comes from a very unexpected place, leaving her wondering if anything is ever really as it seems at first glance. Karnus, meanwhile, thinks like a Gold; he doesn't realize he's been taking his life for granted, until he meets someone who just knows how to ask the right questions.
Bottom line, you can't predict who makes your heart skip.

Then he met J'ii!x. And J'ii!x wasn't about to let Herbie settle down without a fight. Because, a long time ago, in a secret dimension, far, far away, a Republic's freedom was at stake, and there were heaps of money to be made. Or, at least, that's what Herbie had been promised.
