Summary
Morga Eirsdottir didn’t have strong opinion on having children. She never had thought about it more deeply than the usual wandering thoughts of having family of her own. If she were honest, she would have been fine without any. But she had known for while that it was expected of her, mainly to continue their family line and making her mother proud as usual. The next generation to continue their legacy.
She hadn’t thought the pregnancy in more insightful matter. Never mind the actual birth. Nor hadn’t she thought about the actual child raising at all.
The absolute worst time of her life.

Wicander is the one tasked with teaching Tyranny about the Candescent Creed and therefore the only one who is forced to listen to her. His polite smile is the only one that wavers into something darker when she speaks; it belies something beyond the rest of his family’s disinterested distaste for her nature. Something that she has been clawing at for weeks and making sporadic headway in freeing, which is so annoying that she throws her hands up and sneaks out and away, catches a party invitation on the wind, and goes to get piss drunk amongst the finest relics that Dol-Makjar has to offer just to hear someone yell.
