Summary
“Stop it,” he hissed. “You’re not Remus, or Sirius, and we all bloody well know you aren’t James Potter.”
James glanced down at his hands, as if to check. “Er, no, I think I am, actually.” He ran a hand through his messy hair absently, causing dust to rain down. Sirius coughed.
“That’s impossible.”
“Why?”
“Because he’s dead.”
Prompt: After his name is called at the Goblet, Harry seeks out safety in the Room of Requirement. Suddenly, a cabinet rattles and spits three figures out— James Potter, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin.
And, for some reason, they look his age.

Summary
“Stiles, we know about your Spark,” Scott looked at Stiles with desperate eyes, trying to convey something. “He is the Werewolf who's been chasing you. You must run. We’ll help you…”
Stiles stared at his friend, genuinely concerned for his sanity, because the nonsense he was sputtering was really fucking confusing.

“Beacon County Sheriff's Department, this is deputy Mahealani speaking.”“Oh thank god!”
“Stiles?”
“I, uh, I need some advice.”
“Advice?”
“Yeah. So, hypothetically, say you met your boyfriend’s mother and sister for the first time ever. Completely by accident. In the grocery store. And they convinced you to help them make a dinner to surprise aforementioned boyfriend when he got home after work. What would you do?”
Danny paused, and then, “Stiles, you don’t have a boyfriend.”
“That’s not the point! And I said hypothetically.”
“Stiles...what are you doing right now?”
***
Stiles never imagined he’d be in Derek’s kitchen cooking a surprise dinner with Derek’s family while they waited for Derek to get home from work.
Partly because their visit was a complete surprise.
But mostly because Stiles didn’t have a boyfriend.
Or even know who Derek was.
But he’d already come this far and Papa didn’t raise no quitter!

Summary
“Find Medusa?” Percy spluttered, trying and failing not to sound indignant. “Nobody wants to find Medusa. You run into Medusa while trying to retrieve your uncle’s stolen lightning bolt and then mail her head to the gods after she keeps talking about how your eyes are like your father’s.”
From behind him, Piper raised a single finger. “When you mail what to whom?”
Percy glanced over his shoulder to give her a shrug. “Don’t worry about it. I was twelve,” he said before turning back to where Gabe was still fighting against the ropes binding his hands together. “Do you have any idea what to do with him?”
Nico leaned over, craning his neck to better peer at the hot sauce that still stained Gabe’s face despite the years of statue-ification. “Um, we could see if your dad wants to turn him into a fish or something?”
Percy grimaced. If Gabe Ugliano was a fish, then he’d be forced to hear the man’s voice in his head for years to come. But also, he could maybe mount him on a wall, so perhaps it wasn’t an entirely terrible idea.
Or
Medusa’s sculptures are mysteriously coming back to life. Percy doesn’t think murder is an unreasonable action given the circumstances.

Bookmarker's Notes
I really liked the exploration of guilt for things that are out of your control because Percy somehow manages to blame himself for everything in this and the books, (I blame his poor self image/esteem.)
I also like how it explored Medusas side of the story and how vengeance, justice, or forgiveness arent the "end all, be all" when it comes to overcoming/accepting something traumatic. I like how her story tied into Percys even though they arent the same thing and how telling their stories were the way for them to find peace in what happened.
I like how she wasnt forgiven for what she did right away and how some victims never will forgive her because acting out for something that others havent done cant be excused or forgiven just because of their circumstances. Thats like forgiving your parent for beating you just because their parents did so too, they still caused you harm even when they knew how much it hurt. You cant excuse their actions and they should have known better.
(sorry if any of this is worded weird Im sick adjacent)
