Optimus, dismayed, tries to backtrack. “No,” he takes a moment to clear his vocalizer, “no, Starscream. We know you aren’t particularly acquainted with sparklings, but we don’t have anyone else with an open schedule. You were our last choice—we didn’t want to ask this of you if it could be helped.”
Silence. Then:
“What do you mean I was your last choice!?”
Starscream is tasked with the survival of a sparkling, and it goes about as well as anyone could reasonably expect.

Summary
The war is over, and Shockwave returns to Cybertron to stand trial for his crimes. Talon-1, a doctor, is brought in to testify as an expert witness. When the lone mneumosurgeon raises concerns over his mental competence, citing the lingering effects of Shadowplay and condemning the former Autobot Regime, Shockwave seizes the opportunity to undermine the tribunal. His plans begin to unravel, however, when his only benefactor is assigned the task of undoing the effects of his Shadowplay.
Or: Shockwave relearns what it means to feel, and struggles to reconcile who he was, who he became, and who he wants to be.

Summary
On a sudden stop to Cybertron, Megatron’s uncharacteristic disembarkment startles the crew. In a desperate search for the ex-warlord, Rodimus soon finds him looming over Optimus Prime in the derelict remains of the Hall of Records.
His servo reached out – one littered with the blood of planets, indicating no mercy to who was once his greatest nemesis. Rodimus would never make it in time! Nonetheless, he had to help Optimus.
Yet just as Rodimus emerged from his nestled hiding spot between two collapsed shelves, Megatron rotated his arm struts to reach a servo out warmly. From the disgustingly fond edge of his tone to the unnecessary movements to pull Optimus to his pedes despite the other being completely capable – it’s truly baffling.
AKA Rodimus tries to comprehend Megatron’s strange demeanour towards his ex-enemy.

Summary
The Quintessons wage a brutal war across Cybertron, opposed by The Thirteen Primes and their triumvirate High Guard. Senator Shockwave advocates for culture and education amidst the violence; Soundwave seeks to protect the next generation; and Starscream takes to the skies with his trine on behalf of the beloved conjunx waiting for him to come home after every battle.
But then the Primes are killed in a brutal ambush and their aide, Sentinel, is the only witness to their deaths. As Sentinel and Starscream vie for control of Cybertron, the three commanders seek the truth of their Primes’ deaths. And each one pays a terrible price when they learn it.
