Summary
Fresh from one of the top culinary schools in the country, Rhys lands an internship at The Diamond Pony, the heralded restaurant of both infamous and legendary chef, 'Handsome' Jack Wolfbaine. But as his first day turns out less than stellar, Rhys isn't sure the cooking world is all it's cracked up to be and starts to doubt his career choice or if he was ever built to handle it. Plus, turns out the Pony is now a washed up novelty from yesteryear with barely the ability to fill its dining room, its staff full of miscreants and over-inflated egos. Despite the shortcomings, Rhys bucks up and decides to stay on, making it his duty to help pull the restaurant back into the spotlight. Which manages to impress chef Jack, who sets his sights on the intern for more than just his skills in the kitchen. Rhys's life as a young chef working at the Pony is about to get a lot more convoluted. More so than it already was, that is.

Summary
So the basic fact of the whole mess is that the #NSA Dom/sub real ppl only thing? It only worked up to a point. And it's his own fault, he's not ashamed to admit that. Getting attached to a sleazy online Dom was maybe not the best idea he's ever had.
Rhys is a barista, and Jack is an asshole. Jack smacks into his life like a wrecking ball, and everything is entirely accidental from that point on. But then again, he can't say he's not having fun, because okay. He totally is. It also helped that Rhys really wanted to get laid, and in that respect Jack was a god in all but name.

Jack thought it was a GREAT idea. He wanted to be the strongest, most handome person in the universe, and he thought that becoming an updated version of 'A Weapon of War' was the solution. Without a care in the world, he had plunged the damn syringe into his neck, and promptly passed out.
His new body, and set of mind are a battle that Rhys has to reckon with, and saying: "Jack, no." doesn't work.
